Following your own path does not just mean: following your dreams.
Following your own path means:
- Making your own decisions
- Being the captain of your life
- Being assertive
- Thinking for yourself
- Loving yourself
- Trusting yourself
- Listening to your own intuition
- Applying discernment and wisdom to your life where you see fit
- Leading your own life
- Taking responsibility for your decisions
- Not putting your life into someone else’s hands
- Doing things that you want to do
- Investing in relationships that add value to your life
- Surrounding yourself with people you love and enjoy
- Being nobody’s doormat
- Doing something because you want to not because someone told you to
- Working in a job or career that you like
- Being you
Following your own path is so much bigger than following a dream. First off, not all dreams should be followed or invested in. But your path is who you are based on the decisions you make throughout your life. There is so much loaded into this statement [Follow your Own Path] that many people often forget or just don’t think about.
I am here to tell you today to follow your own path because life and time are never guaranteed.
