It can be hard to anything when you’re feeling depressed.

It’s Hard To:

  • Keep going.
  • Keep being productive.
  • Keep making progress.
  • Keep working on your goals.
  • Keep living life.
  • Keep your emotions in check.
  • Keep your hopes up.
  • Keep a positive attitude.
  • Keep doing what you need to do.

But the more you push yourself to keep it moving through the powerful emotion — depression — the stronger you become emotionally, and the more independent you become when the feeling pops up in your life. Some people tie themselves to depression and establish an identity with it. This is a no-go.

Depression, low moods, low feelings, sadness, discouragement, loneliness, self-pity, self-hatred, remorse, and apathy, do not have to rule your life. You Rule Your Life. You Are In Control. It’s hard to remember this, though, when most people live their lives impulsively and respond unproductively to every emotion that pops up.
